Success rate of skin grafting and laser treatments

The rate of cutaneous defilements is increasing with an excessive use of chemical based cosmetics which results in earlier aging. Recent laser based treatments have set a new trend to fight against age management. The use of lasers for tattoo removal, treating vascular lesions, hair removal and skin resurfacing has leaded its growth to new statures. Acellular Dermal Matrix and skin grafting has successfully been used to cure traumatic injuries and burns.

 

According to American Burn Association, roughly a figure of 1 million burn injuries occurred in America out of which only half of them acquire hospitalization and among those  25000 were being treated successfully with grafts and other treatments. Approximate of 4% successful treatments occur. Furthermore, more than 1.3 million laser hair removal, 4.3 laser liposuctions were performed in 2016. Laser tattoo removal had a hike of 13% in 2016.
